🌾 Essay: Indian Farmer

Simple English | For Class 6 to 10

An Indian farmer is the backbone of our country. He works hard in fields from morning to evening. Most farmers in India live in villages and grow crops like wheat, rice, pulses and vegetables.

Farmers face many problems. They depend on rain, good seeds and fertilizers. Sometimes floods or drought destroy their crops. Still, they never give up and keep working for us.

We get food because of farmers. Without them, we cannot eat. Our festivals and celebrations are also connected to farming and harvest.

The government helps farmers with loans, better seeds and new machines. But farmers also need respect and fair prices for their crops.

We should value Indian farmers. "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan" reminds us that farmers are as important as soldiers.
