Simple Present Tense (सामान्य वर्तमान काल)


Simple Present tense का उपयोग सामान्य या नियमित क्रियाओं को व्यक्त करने के लिए किया जाता है। यह काल बताता है कि कोई क्रिया नियमित रूप से होती है, या कोई सामान्य तथ्य है।


Structure:


- Affirmative: Subject + Verb (s/es)

- Negative: Subject + do/does + not + Verb

- Interrogative: Do/Does + Subject + Verb?

- Negative Interrogative: Do/Does + Subject + not + Verb?


Examples:


- मैं स्कूल जाता हूँ। (I go to school.)

- वह खाना खाती है। (She eats food.)

- वे खेलते हैं। (They play.)

- क्या तुम पढ़ते हो? (Do you study?)


Uses:


- नियमित क्रियाओं को व्यक्त करने के लिए: I go to school every day.

- सामान्य तथ्यों को व्यक्त करने के लिए: The sun rises in the east.

- आदतों को व्यक्त करने के लिए: She drinks tea every morning.


Note: Simple Present tense का उपयोग वर्तमान में हो रही क्रियाओं को व्यक्त करने के लिए नहीं किया जाता है, इसके लिए Present Continuous tense का उपयोग किया जाता है।
